Members of the club come from all walks of life and we meet to share a common interest in experimental radio communications and electronic experimentation.
We are proudly affiliated with the Wireless Institute of Australia.
We meet regularly in our clubrooms which are the former OTC Wireless Station on the Queen's Domain, Hobart. See the Events page for details. You are welcome to come along whether you are a member or not.
To join REAST Inc. you will need to complete a Membership Form. REAST has over 190 members. Existing members will need to complete a Renewal Form. Family memberships are now available for a greatly reduced fee. Membership information can be found here. A 2014 membership is $30 and $10 for additional family members.
REAST has a strategic partnership with the Tasmanian Smallcraft Marine Radio Group sub-lease our clubrooms and operate the Tas Maritime Radio marine network.
There is also a very active WICEN group in Southern Tasmania who assist with community event communications.
