9. Meeting Close
All office holder and committee positions fall vacant at the AGM. We will
therefore be looking for nominations for President, Vice-President,
Secretary, Treasurer and Committee member. We will also need a member
to serve as Public Officer.
We ask that all members give some serious thought to who they would like
to see running Club affairs in the coming 12 months, including the
possibility that they might themselves step forward in 2012.
Members are reminded that they will need to have paid their 2012
subscription prior to the commencement of the meeting to vote at the
Annual General meeting. Similarly, they will need to have paid their
2012 subscription by 31 December 2011 before they can nominate or be
nominated for office prior to the AGM, however in the absence of prior
nominations, financial members can nominate at the AGM, if required,
as only financial members can vote on questions before the Committee.
