When and where is the Broadcast on? The VK7 Regional Broadcast can be heard at 0930 (9:30am) Local Tasmanian Time every Sunday (except the Remembrance Day Contest weekend). It follows the WIA National News Broadcast which starts at 0900 (9am) prior to the Regional News. These news broadcasts can be heard on the following frequencies:
Please Note: Only the VK7 Regional News Broadcast can be heard on 7 & 14 MHz. VK7 Regional News Mailing List To give even greater access to the regional broadcast and amateur news in VK7 by both amateur and non-amateurs we have a VK7 Regional News email list courtesy of Yahoo Groups. This list allows anyone to register their email address and receive the VK7 Regional news broadcast text, WIA News, relevant ACA media releases and other interesting news delivered free via email. The emailed version of the Regional news gives you all those internet and email addresses that are not read out when it goes to air. There is also additional material that is not included on the broadcast due to time and space constraints. The easiest way to subscribe to the mailing list is to send a blank email to: vk7regionalnews-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or use the form below:
