REPEATER FOOTNOTES:Goto Top of Page

1). VK7RAD (146.700) and VK7RHT (146.850) are permanently linked. A CTCSS tone of 141.3Hz is required for access to the 146.700MHz VK7RAD.

2). VK7RAA (147.000) and VK7RWC (147.075) are permanently linked via VK7RAL (146.400 and 439.900).

3). VK7RMD (438.600) and VK7RAC (438.650) default to not being linked but is linkable by users using 3 digit DTMF codes (see below).

4). VK7RAC (438.650) is by default permanently linked to VK7RAA (147.000) but is switchable by users using DTMF codes (see below).

5). VK7RAC LINKING DTMF CODES:

DTMF Code Action
A31 Table Cape (VK7RAC 438.650) ONLY
A32 Table Cape (VK7RAC 438.650) LINKED to Mt. Duncan (VK7RMD 438.600). Two short beeps with short gap to acknowledge linking.
A35 Table Cape (VK7RAC 438.650) LINKED to Mt Barrow (VK7RAA 147.000). Two short beeps with long gap to acknowledge linking.   This link is the default.
A36 Table Cape (VK7RAC 438.650) LINKED to Mt. Duncan (VK7RMD 438.600) AND Mt Barrow (VK7RAA 147.000). Three beeps with short gaps to acknowledge the linkage.

The transmitting radios beep every 20 secs while receiving to indicate which receiver is active - 1 beep = Table Cape receiving, 2 beeps = Mt Duncan receiving and 3 beeps = Mt Barrow receiving.

All linking returns to the default mode after idle time-out (60 seconds).

6). VK7RAF requires a 123Hz CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) tone for local contacts and 141.3Hz CTCSS Tone for the link to VK7RAB on Mt Arthur. The repeater also has a 141.3 Hz CTCSS tone on TX for people who require a subtone to eliminate mute openings around the city. If amateurs are using the 141.3 subtone encoders in their rig they will have to program a second channel with 123Hz CTCSS tone carrier SQ for local contacts.Goto Top of Page

7). VK7RAB is permanently linked to VK7RNE and, can also be linked to VK7RAF through the use of CTCSS tone of 141.3Hz. VK7RAF can likewise be linked to VK7RAB by using the same tone.

8). A CTCSS tone of 123Hz is required for access to the 146.900MHz VK7REC.

9) A CTCSS tone of 141.3Hz is required for access to the 438.600MHz VK7RTC.

10). A CTCSS tone of 141.3Hz is required for access to the 438.600MHz VK7RMD.

11). A CTCSS tone of 123Hz is required for access to the 147.875MHz VK7RCR.

12). VK7RIN broadcast link 146.700 to 439.950 from Barren Tier to VK7RAA Mt Barrow .

13). A CTCSS tone of 141.3Hz is required for access to the 147.075MHz VK7RWC.

14). A CTCSS tone of 114.8Hz is required for access to the 147.300MHz VK7RBI.
